We have been receiving a few of these phone calls saying they are from wells fargo and that there has been a block on our debit card. If we would like to reactivate enter our 16 digit card #. I have called wells fargo twice about this but they will do nothing! They are as much of a scam as this call.Who would or could do anything about this?

Thank you so much for the info Ive been wondering who this was as it is a north dakota phone number and thats where I was born and where my family is and its been bothering me I thought it may have been something to do with my cousin who was just crowned miss north dakota and will soon be competing in the miss america pageant

Do not call again

Told me my Bank of America debit card was locked and to press 1 for the security desk. The computer generated voice made me laugh. It was like the computer voice from an old si-fi movie. Also, I don't have an account with this bank.

I fell for it, didn't connect the dots until later in the evening when I noticed that my debit card had been used in Chandler Arizona (one of the Circle K gas stations there) to pull out $300. Wells Fargo didn't really care to investigate (didn't even want the phone number) but I should get my money back from them. Still sucks having to change any recurring charges.

Said "problem with your Bank of America Card, for please enter your card # now.... Sure Thing, and Fargo...!

Just got a call from that number....hang up immediately or don't call them back.

Received numerous calls from this # and they claim to be Wells Fargo Bank telling me that my debit card was stolen. I don't bank with Wells Fargo and never have.

Wouldn't happen to me I don't have long distance on my land line service. I use my cell phone for all long distance calls. And I do not under any circumstances answer my cell if I don't know the number.

I was out and my husband called me to say that my debit card had been locked and to reactivate it, press "1". It was a North Dakota # so he immediately hung up. I informed him that I just used my credit card about 3 minutes after the phone call. I am glad that I checked this site. And I am also glad that my husband had the sense to just hang up. These people should try getting a real job!!!
