Received a call today on my cell phone. The mechanical voice claimed to be from Wells Fargo on my Visa account. She said my account had been locked for security reasons. She said to press 1 if I wanted my account reactivated. I did press 1, but when she asked for my 16 digit account number, I just hung up and called my bank. The bank said that people had been getting these fraudulant calls for about three weeks and reminded me that the bank will NEVER as for your account number. I reported this 701-509-8703 number to them.Wish these dopes would spend as much time and effort doing something positive as crooked. The world would be a better place.

They called me and left a message saying my visa debit card had been locked. if i wanted to unlock it i was supposed to press 1 or something... It was way suspicious.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone - it was almost midnight. I figured if it was important they'd leave a voice mail message . . . they didn't.

I received a call last night at 10:20pm from this number. It said that my bank account has been locked, to press number 1 to talk to somebody about it. I hung up. I researched the number this morning, It seems that if you press a number they can get information and people are warned not to press any numbers.

I received call while phone separated from me for a short period. No voice mail msg left but spouse ALSO received call that said his bank debit card was "frozen". Pressing #'s requested to reactivate. SCAM #. Suggest pressi g nothing & giving NO information to "helpful agents".

I just got one. Couldn't understand them and just hung up. Then a very cold feeling enveloped me. I realized I'd just met Lucifer.

I rec'd a call from this number at 12:45 A.M. That's right, in the middle of the night. I answered it - was disoriented and it was advising me that me Bank Of America debit card was being deactivated. I don't have anything with Bank of America so I hung up. Apparently a scam of somesort because it wanted me to press a number to continue.

Mine also said RESET.

Received a call @ 1:29 am to my cell phone. Didn't answer. Don't know anyone from N. Dakota. Not quite sure how they got my number. I don't use it for any purpose that might sell phone #'s. I must have slipped up somewhere. Not my first call from this #. Thanks to the comments on this page from the first time I got the call I knew not to answer. #701-509-8703

I just got one, too. Auto voice used my bank name and said that my debit card had been frozen and to press 1 to unlock it. I immediately hung up and called my bank. They are reporting it to the proper authorities.
