just got the call....weird thing they knew which bank i use....are they somehow hacking my phoine for info?
this is someone who tells you that you have been selected to reduce your credit card interest rate, I got suspicious when the lady asked for the last 4 digets of my social. I called my credit card company, it is a SCAM!
Had a missed call from this number twice. Glad I looked it up on here. Now to figure out how to block it.
Me too. Pissed me off but took it seriously until i tried to call them back. lousy way to start the morning.
01:38 AM Central . . . got a call saying it was Bank of America, and that my Debit card had been stolen, press 1 for security department. No Bank of America accounts here . . . hung up.
Showed up as missed call on my cell phone, no message left, checked and found this site, thanks for good info on these people.
Caller I.D. said Reset. It was a recorded message saying I had won a free home security system. Tried to call back and got message it was not a working number. Looked on Whitepages.com and it is listed as a cell phone in Minot, ND. Did not want to pay $1.99 to find out who it is.
I just received a telephone call from this number with a prerecorded message stating that my debit card had been compromised and canceled. Then was prompted to press 1 to speak to the security department, which I did not do. The call was then disconnected.
We received a call from the 701-509-8703 number claiming that it was the fraud department and that my account was blocked and to press 1. Just like the entry above. First of all, our bank that we do have a MC debit card with does not even have our home number and it is not in ND. The caller ID also showed a number 1444 before the number. We entered a phony card number to see what would happen but the system got "upset" saying it was not a valid card number.
