I refuse to answer any call that I do not recognize on my caller ID screen.

Just got a call from this number and, as usual, I don't answer unrecognizable numbers. Went to get the mail and have a solicitation and petition from the right to work committee to send to my representatives in house and senate. I believe in right to work and Tennessee has it already. I don't know if the federal government is trying to get the whole country unionized or what is the purpose...don't understand card check. My caller ID showed it was a wireless phone call. I imagine some company makes calls for more than one cause and probably from the same number. Don't blame the senator or committee for the harrassment. These calls can be obnoxious. The numbers listed on the mailing is 800-325-7892 or 703-321-9820 if you want to pay them back or just let them know how awful it is to get call after call.

I just got a call from this group that I did not answer. But, if they are a right wing group wanting to destroy Unions, I am all for it. The Unions drove all the jobs out of the country, including Detroit, ruined the Auto Industry, then jumped in bed with Obama to OWN the Car industry, and receive all kinds of considerations and perks for helping Obama get elected. I had a wonderful career with non-Union Insurance companies. The Unions are mostly run by corrupt "Jimmy Hoffa" type thugs. They were good and right when they started out, but like many other legitimate organizations, have been infiltrated and taken over by hoodlums and corrupt politicians. Will see if I can call that number back so I can donate some money.

You're missing the point. No one should be forced to join a union in order to have a job. If the union is really beneficial, a worker can make up his mind on that score and join, but you cannot tell a worker to work elsewhere just because they don't want to join a union. There is no place for any coercion on this matter.

I've received too many calls from NRTW and have taken the time to talk to Steve and he has twice taken my phone number and promised to submit it to the service that makes all of their autocalls. He wanted me to understand that it's not easy to remove the number because of the thousands of calls made by the service and the problems they have making the change. Also, he let me know that because it is a NONPROFIT that they need not remove my phone number but would do so because that's what they do. By the way this is a nonprofit only by NRTW and necessarily doesn't meet the IRS definition because I can't use it to reduce my taxes. If you do nothing because you can't, I will understand. (And the Republican party wonders why they're having problems connecting to their members.)

I was told it was a anti union message from Senator Rand Paul. I told them to give him a message for me: that he should be helping the people instead of fighting the unions that protect workers. That he and the rest of the republicans should stop being cowards and pass the legislation to put people to work.When are people going to wake up and see what the tea party is anti democracy. They don't want to go to Washington and compromise. They want everything their way or no way and they will obstruct the process until they get it. We have to get these anti Americans out of office.

As we seem to have to repeat on all of these type of messages, advocacy calls are not impacted by the do-not-call list. It is Sales calls that are banned by the dnc list.
