Calls to solicit money from me for right to work campaign. Iam 92 and dont need the aggrivation
Call from some random idiot wanting me to support some citizen network. They call several times a week despite my telling them to take me off their list because I won't be donating to their cause. Wonder if they realize how pissed off people get when they just won't stop calling. I've threatened to report them and one guy actually laughed at me. Guess they have to make a quota of calls and even if the answer is "NO", it counts for a call. [***]! (In case you're wondering why I don't just let it go to voice mail, I'm still working on my college paper on telemarketers and it's going to be really good.)
called, left no message - we are on state and national Do Not Call lists - we never pick up on ID we don't recognize - I assume it's a political call from the comments of others
I got a call from them today. The solution is quite simple, get caller ID and use it. I won't even get off the couch when the phone rings if I do not recognize the number. I can't remember the last time I actually answered my landline.... which I only keep because of a monitored alarm system.I want to thank this site for the link to UnionFacts.com.... lots of good info and I will support them.

AN EMAIL IS ENOUGH; I CAN THEN READ WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT AND THEIR AGENDA TO SEE IF IT MATCHES MY THOUGHTS AND WILL DONATE IF IT IS WELL INTENTIONED TO PROTECT HARD WORKING AMERICANS FROM INTIMIDATION BY UNIONS; BY POLITICIANS; BY OBAMAS HARD LEFT WINGERS, THEN IT PROBABLY IS. I DISLIKE THE HARD SELL TACTICS AND TEND NOT TO DONATE UNDER THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES; LIKE GETTING CALLS IN AM AND AT DINNER TIME.
