i m shopping for a car & this number keep calling me... never give your phone number to a car dealership unless you are serious to buy their car.

I had only been by a dealership to look at a few cars, and didn't even take one for a test drive.
Yeah. I gave my number for a salesperson to let me know when a car would be out of the shop so I could test drive it. It was supposed to be in for a paint job but took a week and I found a different car to purchase. They finally called me and I told them I wasn't interested so I've gotten two calls in the past three hours. I didn't allow or request my information to be given out for any other purpose than regarding a vehicle I no longer need. Beware:Champion Chrysler Jeep Dodge - Gave out my number because they were slow and didn't get the car was was interested out of the shop in a reasonable time. I drove thru Norman ok Chrystler jeep dodge lot last to search for until. Van.Salesman cornered me,and ask for name and phone#.I never got out of my car, butI noticed he Went quickly indoors,as I left. The next day I started to get calls 5 in two days,from this# .I ask to be removed from calls , got 2later that day. This lot may think this is a way to market,but I will never go back. People,never give your name and number until you are ready to buy! They're no longer car salesmen,but salesmen w/ computers.
Numerous calls from this number with a hang up. Just called them and left a message to take me off the list. Visiting car dealers right now. I will start asking about each dealers privacy policy, naming this harassing company and insisting they do not sell my information to anyone!
I've gotten a call a couple of times. I too have been doing on buying a car online.They left a message in a weird voice saying "Yes, Yes."
