Received a weird message from this number, automated message stated that it was a call verification and provided me with a pin number. I have not initiated a call that would have facilitated this, so this was not legitimate from me to receive.
Received a call from this number 714-868-0120, caller ID said it was a Jose Bohl. Both the number and person are unknown to me so I let it go to my answering machine. The message was an automated female computer voice saying "Your code is...(then a 5-digit #). Goodbye form Yahoo." The word Yahoo was the famous audio Yahoo ID yell. Then the whole message was repeated. Also, while I was getting this message I was getting another phone call from the same number and person and that automatically went to my voicemail and it was the same message. Since I don't have any Yahoo account, this is very strange. I don't know what this is about.
this is a verification code for yahooI just used this code changing my password for yahoo. I too was wondering who it was as I forgot i submitted it and asked for it to be sent to me by phone
If you keep getting calls from this number AND you are not trying to verify an account yourself (MS, Google, others use this #), then someone is trying to use one of YOUR accounts for something. I would login to your accounts and change the passwords just to make sure nothing has been compromised.
I was awakened at 1:30 am by this verication code. I call back, but it is busy all the timeI was pissed, especially since I was dead asleep.
Caller didn't leave message.I find this number to be for a personal residence_____ Coyote LN.Norwalk, CA. 90650
It's a auto call to verify you with a code to identify that it is you wanting to make the change in some account. Email address, phone number or such. For those of you getting this call for no reason I'm assuming either someone had your phone number previously prior to when you got your phone and had some account set up with it or mistakenly they put in the wrong number.Based on my previous experience, there is usually 3 choices to make when you they want to send you a verification code and you pick: cell phone, home phone, or email address but you will see only a partial part of the number so you may not know if it is accurate. Problem is that there is not a way to change the numbers if they are not correct until you put in the code. Kinda a catch 22.
Don't worry guys and gals. This is just Microsoft automated service that performs many things, like confirming your identity when resetting you account, confirm when signing up for new account, etc. This number is used for Hotmail, SkyDrive, and other Microsoft services. That's why people here are saying they are given 5 digit number, so when you go online, you can confirm your identity. Of course, if you never asked for any of this, somebody out there got your number! Or they just can't type their number correctly.
