Same as above ID says Unknown, no message. Also getting calls from 716 990 8492, same routine same town, Connected?

Received call from "MARY BLACKMON" 09 August 2013 1:55PM EDT. Let it go to voicemail. No message.

Also got one call 8/12/13 #716 990 8492 left on my answer machine from Niagra Falls, New York about a free medical alert system. But also pertaining to medical alert with another number on answer machine a John is calling saying it is paid for by someone and also free shipping...press 1... press 5 decline and if we already have disregard message and this number is 216 206 6376. So beware of these numbers too.

I got a call from the same Caller ID (716-990-8492, Mary Blackmon) at 9:56 am today. Luckily, I have the After Hours on my Digitone Call Blocker set to reject all non-VIP calls from midnight to noon, so I can sleep late when I want. I wouldn't even have known about this call except for checking my call log. No voice mail message was left. From previous postings here, this is a definite scam call. I'm so glad 800notes.com exists to make this information known.

Received call: 08-12-13 @ 2:19 PM. Answered and they hung-up. Did a call-back and it went to voice mail with a man's voice. I hung-up.

Area code is easy to spoof...probably nowhere near NY. If I see a number I don't recognize from a strange area code I do NOT answer it to give them a "Live" sucker they can peddle to other telemarketers.

This number(716)990-8492 called my home line and thankfully we generally screen our calls.As it seems a lot of ppl who did answer found themselves either hung up on,or otherwise annoyed by this caller. I wish these ppl,whoever they are,would get a f*(kin' life and stop calling others just to annoy or god knows why else they do it. Give us all a friggin break!!

This is a telescammer trying to sell a fall-alert system to the elderly. I have had several of these calls from metro Washington, DC area numbers as well. They all seem to use the same system: Press (1) to speak to an agent. Press (5) to be removed. Which obviously does no good!

Had a call from this number at 10AM. No msg left. Tried to call number as it showed 'UNKNOWN'. Got a msg that Cricket number is no longer in service, msg BUF21. Definite scammer! Everyone getting calls from this number needs to report it to FTC. They will look into it should there be enough reports on it.

No message on machine, caller was Mary Blackmon, called twice in 10 minutes. Second time I answereredit and yelled hello, they hung up. I have no idea who it is and all caller I.D. says is Mary Blackmon.
