I just got a call from 724-490-6234 and when I tried to immediately call back the message said that number was no longer in service.

Called my cell about 10 minutes ago. Same as all the others - no VM left.

I have been driven nuts by these a-holes. THe only way to stop them is with a call blocker macheine. Thankfully the prices have come down considerably Amazon and Ebay have one now for 39. free shipping. So far reviews are good. I am considering buying one. I downloaded a free apt yesterday for my cell, keeping my fingers crossed. Do not call list is a joke. Some spamers have 100 numbers of more, and they are on robo. Till I get the blockers up and running, let it ring 3 times pick up hang up. Never answer, or have an answering machine on, it tells them it is a good number. Pick up and hng up they think call blocker.

Just got a call from this number immediately after receiving a call from another unknown number. Likely the same scammers.

Caller began by offering to send me hard core porn videos. I hung up. He called back and started yelling something foul - I hung up. Placed number in my phone's call blocker.

Called me, but no voice when I answered. Blocking them now.

Called me today. I answered, pressed 1 and got a lady. I asked who she was, she claims to be with a Consumer Advocate Company trying to get your credit card rate lowered. She asked for my total balance on my Visa and MC cards. I told her I'm not giving any information like that and she hung up on me. Of course I called it back and it couldn't be completed as dialed, which means its a disconnected number. I work for a landline phone company and hear complaints of this all the time. Just have to use your caller ID for landline and not answer if you don't know the number. If it's important they'll leave a message. For cell phones, I highly recommend downloading Mr Number app. This will give you the city and state of the number that's calling you before you answer. Whether you answer or not, you have the option to block the number with a hang up or straight to voicemail.

On my Iphone I just block it.

Called and I answered. They promptly disconnected after saying nothing. Tried to call back and got message saying "the call can not be competed as dialed, please check the number and dial again." In other words, a programmed dead end.
