Just got call from this #, answered and they hung up on me. Dialed it back from my work # - a law firm. Got the same as everyone else: "call cannot be completed as dialed..."

Answwered the phone and they didnt say anything and then disconnected

No VM, but I will not call back

Just another Credit Card Services Scam. Don't pick these up. Instead report them. Go to the National Do Not call list and make a complaint.

Called my cell. No voice when answered. Must be scam of some sort.

Came through on my cell phone a few minutes ago. I don't usually answer calls from numbers I don't recognize but I have a couple of ads up on the local [classifieds site which shall remain nameless but most people can guess who it is] and knowing people's cells can have out-of-area numbers I decided to answer it. There was nothing on the other end but silence. I said "hello" a couple of times and after several seconds of waiting gave up and hung up.

I wish someone could explain their intentions in detail

May their fingers not fall off, but be filled with arthritis and gout and their ears be filled with infection; thus hurting enough so they would prefer their fingers and ears to fall off rather than to feel the aches and pain :-)
