THESE DUMB [***] PEOPLE KEEP CALLING ME AND I DO ANSWER SOME OF THE TIME JUST TO SEE HOW LONG I CAN KEEP THEM ON THE PHONE AND ONCE THEY START ASKING ME FOR MY SS# AND ALL THE CARD NUMBERS THAT IS WHEN I LET THEM HAVE IT... THEY JUST HANG UP AND WHEN I DO A REDIAL AS I KNOW FROM PREVIOUS CALL LIKE THIS THEY ARE USING THROW AWAY CELL PHONES THAT CANNOT BE TRACED. MY ONCERN IS THAT THEY WILL GET SOME POOR SOLE ON THE PHONE THAT THINKS THEY ARE GETTING A REAL DEAL ......... PEOPLE BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS ...... GIVE THEM NO INFO OR BETTER YET DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE .
I received a phone call from 1-727-674-9999 at 2:06pm on Nov. 1. 2011 standard eastern time. It is a recording stating that there is nothing wrong with my credit card but I can lower my interest rate. Press 3 to discontinue these calls (I've done that before to no avail) or 1 to speak to an operator about lowering my rate. I pressed 1 and within 5 seconds a male operator came on and asked if I was calling about lowering my interest rate. When I said I wanted my name to be taken off of the calling list and he hung up on me.
Annoying call - ignored call. Does it cost to put a 'block' on this number? How do you do a 'block' call?
Now that I have caller id, I don't answer calls with caller "Unavailable" such as this one. Apparently that was the correct action for this one. Hopefully, I won't miss any important calls this way.
Caller ID Name: Clearwater FLRobocall from "Rachael at Cardholder Services"I hung up when I realized that the call was a well-known scam.
So far the do not call list doesn't work! I have reported numbers and they just keep calling!!!
V10071654110159 <---- don't know what that means (it says on my caller ID)I didn't even said "Hello" first, and of course it was a machine, and it said, "reduce your interest on your credit card account"
