They have been calling me for five years. Always from different numbers. I gave up getting a live person on and telling them to stop calling, they hang up, say they will put me on do not cal list, or once, a guy just laughed at me. I owe no money on credit cards, never have, yet they won't stop calling. every few months, all these years.

We have received a number of reduce your credit card balance calls from this number. I finally spoke to one of the "operators" and asked to be taken off the list. I could tell she did nothing. Within 2 hours I received another call from them. I find that when I look up the area codes on this annoying calls (not just reduce your credit) they always originate in Florida. Is there nothing that can be done by any government entity to shut down this FL calling ring?

WHY do these idiots keep trying to call? I never answer. They hang up & it burns me up. 2 times in 2 days. From Clearwater FL & I know no one from there. I'm sure it's a scam. DNC don't work. We're unlisted but these fools have no life, obviously.

And, MIKEY, we have to RUN to the phone to see who it is every time; to see if its a call we WANT to answer, like our family, friends, work, etc. So, the 'damage' is done MIKEY whether or not we answer, which I never do. But I'm still ANNOYED and SICK of these calls, like everyone else. And, like others have said, there are TOO MANY NUMBERS to BLOCK each one. I have a 20-number capacity and its been FULL for over FOUR YEARS! Take a number Off blocking to add another, and before you know it, they are using the 'old' number to bug us AGAIN. They ALSO USE UP OUR CELL MINUTES, FILL UP OUR VOICE MAILS (So we have to spend the time and energy monitoring and deleting them) and just generally make life less enjoyable.Only the GOVERNMENT can GO AFTER these CRIMINALS - So it **IS** GOVERNMENT'S responsibility, here, as people have said. We all have THE RIGHT to BE LEFT ALONE in our OWN HOME or BUSINESS and are *NOT* the PROBLEM here - The SCUMBAG CALLERS (and people who *SIDE* with them, MIKEY) ARE the PROBLEM.

Called today phishing for acct #'s to lower my interest rate. Gave the caller fake bank names and led him on for about 10 minutes until he asked for my acct #'s. Told him my wallet was in my car. He said he would wait. Let him wait for about 5 minutes and then told him I was back. He told me he was gonna put me on a 3 way with him and my banks to get acct info. Finallly broke it to him that I was screwing with him and those were fake bank names and that he would be getting no acct info from anyone. He got pissed and told me to get a life. At least I wasted some of his time. By the way, all of you who are registering on the do not call list, it doesn't matter with these scammers. What they are doing is fraud. Plus they are using interstate phone lines to do it. That makes it a federal offense. Do you think they care about a do not call list??
