I received a call this morning from 727-712-0382. I answered but no one said anything. I received another call a few minutes ago. The lady knew my first name, and the last four digits of my visa card. She told me that I was a preferred customer and would receive $40 in gas vouchers in the mail in the next two weeks. I told her that I wasn't interested in this and she completely ignored what I was saying. I came online looking for answers and I found this number 727-669-2242. When I called a lady answered, I told her what happened and she connected me with customer service. I told her what happened. She asked for my name and phone number and told me that I'd be removed from this program, and apologized from any problems.

STOP STOP STOP CALLING ME HOW DID THIS PEOPLE OBTAIN MY INFO. YES I WILL REPORT THEM TO IT REALLY UPSET ME.
What a bunch of cry babies! Nobody is trying to defraud you, we're not trying to piss you of either. on a personal note I work their as a telemarketer to help supplement my families income. I'm not an A** Hole, I'm just a guy trying to carve out a living. The marketing plan for value plus is simple. You get $40 in gas vouchers for trying out the program which provides valuable saving at leading stores. If you choose not to continue, cancel at anytime. If you don't cancel your billed $19.95 a month and the program continues. The only problem comes in when people are stupid and don't take responsibility for their actions. or like with most of you here, you get partial information and make wild assumptions.Cell phone crybabies-We have no way of knowing it's a cell phone and frankly we don't care. If you don't want telemarketers calling you cell phone then only give the number to your friends. You list your cell phone number when you make a purchase, then it's fair game.1) We're just doing our job.2) It's a crappy job and it's not much fun.3) there is no excuses to be rude or to hang-up.4) If you don't want to be called just ask to be removed from the calling list. Your request will be granted! (though it may take several days to process)
Keep calling over and over...but I don't answer because I didn't know the number. Finally found this website to check out the number. So I decided to call THEM...as soon as the phone rang they answered "quality something research" and said Hello, "my husband's name." How did they know my PRIVATE cell phone number is under "my husband's name." Before he said another word I said DO NOT CALL MY PRIVATE CELL PHONE AGAIN IT IS A VIOLATION OF MY RIGHTS. YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO CALL MY PRIVATE CELL PHONE NUMBER, DO YOU UNDERSTAND? He said yes we will remove your number from our data base. What data base? Anyway I told him if I got one more call I was going to sue through my state attorney general's office since they were calling my private cell phone number which I had NOT given them permission to call and I would sue them.
I am thinking this is related to the scam health books "natural cures they don't want you to know about" by Kevin Trudeau. He is a crook and sells all information you give him. Stay away!!!!!!
I love the post made by the telemarketer (man inside). Ummmm...You are in the customer service business, you should read up on the traits required to be successful because all you have done, is prove everyone's low opinions of telemarketers to be correct. The real problem is, that these companies will hire anyone who finds themselves in need of cash. There is NO real job screening. Main requirements of an applicant - a pulse, ability to dial, selective hearing and inability to grasp the uselessness of the plan they are peddling. Rather than take the opportunity to post something constructive and informative, and promote your plans you identify yourself as a representative for the company and then behave like a snippy child and rant. If you had a little understanding of customer service or ANY marketing experience, you'd understand that what you wrote only further alienates folks and only serves to further damage your image. Sigh.... oh well. You're right, we should trust you with our information because clearly YOU have our best interest at heart and of course we should stay on the line for indefinite periods of time, at our own personal cost, (minutes or $$'s) listening to every scripted word regardless of our interest or your lack of interest in our polite attempts to decline your offers.Wonder how your boss would feel to see that this is how you have opted to represent the company on a public forum. All that training gone to waste. LOL
