Have received several or more calls from 749 area code saying I had a problem. with my computer. My geek squad people said it's not a legitimate call and could be dangerous. They said never give out any personal information.
Called at 12:30 pm today. I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize the number. Didn't leave a message.
I got the same call! He said there's a problem with my computer and he's been assigned to fix it remotely. Definitely a scam.
Have received a few calls from this number. Because caller ID says "name unavailable" I do not answer. Of course, no message left. Seems like since I checked to be sure I was on the do-not-call registry, I have gotten MORE 800 / scam / unknown calls then before! Ridiculous. Frustrating.
The same computer scam from the foreigners who claim to be from Vegas. Yes, I'm sure "Jack" who can barely speak understandable English is in Vegas. Or on the other hand, maybe he is. Who knows who the current administration has let into the country. Anyway, it is a scam and I did not fall for it. I wasted some of his time though and had fun doing it.

Robo-dialer caller. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION. DO NOT ANSWER or your phone number will be called again and again. They use several different caller-id numbers similar to 636-235-xxxx. NEVER USE THE WORD "Yes" when a robo-dialer calls you.

Called me on Nov 11, 2025. Phone displayed BMO. Did not answer as the call was on my business phone, which BMO has no access to. 100% Scam.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.
