no... you fill out the entry form for a chance to win something big whatever that may be at that particular event.. not to get harassed by telemarketers!!!
This is the fourth time I've gotten a call from this number today. They never leave a message. Why are they calling me at almost 9 p.m.???
Just got a call from 757-821-0166 because I happened to fill out an entry form to win a car at the baltimore convention center car show last week. The lady who called said i had won a 125 dollar gift card. Then she asked me if my wife was there... I said no. Then she told me she would call back in a little while. Before I could get tell her not to bother, she hung up on me. Just gotta feel sorry for these people who call you around dinner time trying to sell you something. Especially when they are over 30. Get a real job and stop harassing people over the phone!!!
Same story as the rest. Mine came from the Motor Trend Auto Show in Harrisburg. I'm tempted to leave a message at the auto show website telling them how annoying their vendor is.
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! HOW STUPID AND A WASTE OF TIME. GUESS I LEARNED MY LESSON ON FILLING THOSE ENTRIES OUT
4 years ago i entered to win a car at our local mall and had these fools call me and try to give me a free vacation at Massanuttin resort they said it was a prize and i had to pay $75 on my credit card to get a prize I won? I argued with these idiots and hung up they called back 5 times the same day the same sales rep he was very rude i finaly spoke to his superviser and had my info removed . 4 months ago ordered a pizza at pa pa Jons filled out a Win a Car Ticket and guess who calls Again I seem to have Won a Prize a free vacation at massanuttin resort that I must pay a $75 fee to recieve and oh they give it back blah blah blah 30 min. into listening to the sales rep i realized it was the same freaking guy ! still rude still talks over you when you attempt to speak when i refused he kept wanting to speak to my wife about it and even told me he didn't want to speak to me anymore , hung up fool calls back curse him tell him never call again , he calls back remind him i spoke to him 4 yrs ago he remembered the conversation and my name cursed me and hung up , I called back spoke to a superviser reported him yet again . emailed massanuttin resort told them because of my experience i would never vacation at their resort ! went to papa jons filled out every ticket they had for that win a car sweepstakes gave them fake emails names and phone numbers to massanuttin LOL
is not an scam, my friend went to that place, the cash is that you need to attend a timeshare presentation
This so called business called my house 4 times tonight with the last call coming at 9:50PM. I called back and left a message that they damn well better not ever call back at this ridiculous time again. The last name of the person who "won" wasn't mine, so they didn't even have the right person. If they do this again, we'll let them find out what a determined person in law can do to stomp on the pathetic pulse these telemarketers are holding onto. Side stepping the do not call list with a lawyer WHO WILL NOW RECORD YOUR CONVERSATION is not a winning business practice. You have been warned, Vacation Village Resort and I DO know you are reading these posts.
I have received 5 calls from this number. I have told them not to call. They hang up and call me with their number blocked.
We just received a very urgent sounding voicemail from this number by a woman named Mary claiming to be calling about our "resort reservations." We haven't made any reservations at a resort, so I looked up the number and found this site. I decided to turn the tables on them: I found another number in my phone log from a telemarketer that also keeps calling and forwarded all incoming calls from 757-821-0166 to them. We don't want to hear from them, so let them talk to each other! If you have Verizon Fios, it's easy to set this up, and you can forward the calls to whomever you like - I thought about sending them directly to the FCC or the police, but I thought it would be poetic justice to make them talk to each other instead!
