I also received a phone call last night from an east Indian caller (girl) and so did my mom, dad, and husband. It was my sistercalling us from her new IPad. She was excitedly testing out the Googlecall app that she downloaded. Awesome feature!!!! There are over 3000 outgoingcallers registered to number. Some may be fraudsters, many are legit. Like my sister.

I've been getting DOZENS of calls from this number, always dead air on the other end. Extrremely annoying, I hope google shuts this off soon

I just got a call from this number (760-705-8888) in response to a Craigslist ad I posted looking for some Ikea furniture for my daughter. We live in Alabama and he said he was very near my town and was moving. He said he had the chair I was looking for and I could have it at no charge if my husband would help him with something. I was hesitant but asked what he needed help with....he said he needed help to dig a hole about 6 ft deep and then help to lift something to dispose of it out his basement. I said huh? and he repeated it....I told him he was weird and hung up. Actually, it was kind of funny, but damnit...I really need that Ikea chair to match my little girls other furniture! LOL Find something better to do please.....

The problem is if this is the deafult number for EVERYONE who sets up their gmail free phone service, HOW AND THE HELL CAN I DIFFERENTIATE WHO IS CALLING ME?A friend perhaps?A Telemarketer?Until google makes it FREE and EASY, for people who use the gmail phone service, to obtatin their PERSONAL phone number - f**K this service; and it's stupid default number too! What are we going back into time here? THere is a point to caller ID, and with this new gmail service, what's the advantage of having caller ID? None!

I got five calls from this number and they didnt say anything, but I made fun of them and still didnt get a response, who is this???

Caller ID: Edwards, Brent 760-705-888; caller said she was informing me my Pc was causing problems on internet, go to PC. I told her not to call back, after her second call; first time I told her it sounded like a scam and hung up.

Ok so I got a call from tis number today and I am a little angry cause I was actually threatend. This is not cool. Can they really find all my info and where I live and really come find me?

This number called me and said they were from a radio station in Baltimore and I answered some quiz questions about music and I won 4 britney spears tickets. Much to my dismay it was all false. The person on the other end of the line did know my name however.
