I got two calls in a row from 760-705-8888, and it was someone wanting to speak with "the marketing director." So I asked them to not make solicitation calls and hung up on them.
got a call this afternoon, It started "Grandma," when I asked who it was, only got static and then a hang up..Caller ID said Escondido..do have one grandson in Calif but he would only call on cell phone and is not in Escondido..Another of those scrams that can cost people money.
I got the call today. He sounds like British. I asked him his ID and varification. He used some bad words and hung up.
They called me and told me my power consumption was to high, they want to sell me a product that I plug into my wall to cut my consumption down, They claim to be in partnership with the Federal Government. They wanted to confirm my address. I asked them if they new my power consumption they should know my address.When I told them I wanted to confirm this with my MLA they started back tracking.
