No. I am 65. Paid cash to finance my college back when and have NO education loans of any sort. Never have HAD ANY. I've also had this number for 6 years so I figure they are like the NCO collection folks who call not giving a damn if they have the correct number for the person they are seeking or not!

I've been getting these alot lately as well. Like alot of other people, if I don't know the number I won't answer it and they never leave messages.And yes, I do have Sallie Mae loans but i'm also getting calls from them but they DO leave messages.They only seem to call really early in the morning (around 8am PST) or really late at night (8 to 9PM PST).

This is how to stop these calls for good. Just use a fax machine to call this number(765)283-3498 which is a voice line.Your fax will keep calling till it get a fax tone trying up the line forever.They are trying to find out when you answer the phone. Don't anwser this drive them crazy because they can't do there job to get times you will answer. Good luck everyone

THEY ARE HARASSING YOU. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER AND TELL YOUR TELEPHONE CO. HOW MANY TIMES THEY CALL. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET IT CHANGED AT NO COST AND DON'T GIVE IT OUT TO ANYONE. THE TELEPHONE COMPANY TRIED TO SELL ME A CELLPHONE I TOLD THEM THAT I DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH ANOTHER HARASSMENT CALL ON ANOTHER PHONE I HAD TO CHANGE MY HOME PHONE NUMBER. NOW I DON'T GET TOO UPSET WHEN THE PHONE RINGS, I JUST DON'T ANSWER IT AND CHECK MY CREDIT REPORT OFTEN, BECAUSE I KNOW THEY DON'T KNOW WHO I AM. I REGISTER MY NEW NUMBER WITH THE NATIONAL DONOT CALL BY EMAIL ADDRESS AND I THINK IT WAS GIVEN OUT TO THESE CALLER. IF I DECIDE TO CALL ANY OF THESE CALLERS BACK I WILL USE A PAY PHONE.
