Really hard to understand accent - woman claiming to be some medical compensation payer who would give me a lot of money if I had had a sex change operation in the past two years. Last time I looked in the mirror I was still a female!Also a bunch of chattering noise in the background - a boiler-room operation no doubt. I told her she was a scammer and hung up.
Just laughing idiots in the background. Would not say anything and then they hung up. Tried to call back the number and verizon said it was not a working number.
Got a call from this number--guy had a middle east accent for sure... kept asking me about medical coverage and medical compensation---No don't need any medical compensation... They are scams wanting you to start a lawsuit and sue my doctors.... No thank you I don't think so.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
