I keep getting calls from this number & they've called random family members. How are they?

Looking for another Schommer ..needs to stop call me.

A Mrs. Riggins called from this company asking for a deceased family member and then saying that she was trying to reach my son-in-law for a collection matter. (This is in violation of Federal Statutes). She represents United Collections Bureau and that company is known for buying old debts that are past or near their statute of limitations and then harassing and bullying people into paying using telephone and other questionable tactics.

We got a call from this number 888-219-4201. Despite of the fact that several times we told him that this is a business, he kept calling and asking for a guy who never worked in this company.

Who ever heard of this? These people are calling at a institution of a workforce.

got a voicemail at home, calling me by my sister-in-law's name, on a subject re: my nephew. Could not make out name of company but her name was very clear, Miss Dennis, and her ext is #6756.have no idea who it's for or how they got my unlisted number!so far left only one voicemail, but i'll be on the lookout

I received a similar call from this so-called debt collection company asking information about my deceased husband regarding a chase mastercard account that they said was unpaid. All of my husbands accounts were closed 3 years ago. Of course I didn't give them any information, they actually asked me to fax a death certificate so they could close the case. They could not be a legitimate company. They were very unprofessional, I couldn't understand the speaker and they wanted way to much information for a phone interview. Beware, don't give them any credibility. I am wondering where else they should be reported? They gave me all sorts of numbers so I could contact them and a web site that has totally different numbers on it. This is a total scam.

I keep getting calls asking for a person I never heard of. They called several months ago also. I have told them repeatedly that no one by that name lives here. The caller rushed through the company name so I couldn't understand it. They never did give me their name or tell me they were trying to collect a debt. Who do I report them to if they continue to call me?

My wife got a call at her work place from this number.His name was Mr Noel,I thought by law collection agencies could not call you at your work place???????

These scum called my aged parents about my now ex-husband. We have been separated for years...how they got my parents number is beyond me! Again, no clear business name, very clear rep mane and contact number....with case reference and extension. When Dad called, they harranged him and were rude but never quite stepped over the line and NEVER said they were a debt agency.
