I got two phone calls today 05/05/2009 with don't answer so I did not thank god I did not after reading all of your comments.HOPE this does not go on for a long time I did not even applie for a car loan.THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP....
GOT THIS CALL ON MY CELL AND IT WENT TO MY VOICEMAIL,LISTENED TO SOME TALK ABOUT AN AUTO LOAN
received call today around 5:20 foreign man said I was approved for car loan up to $15,000 and wanted to know how much I wanted. He said I applied online for this loan. I did not apply online for any type of loan. When I told him he hung up. He had very broken English and was very hard to understand.
I receive no less than 5 calls a day from this number. Seriously......why would I answer a call showing up as Don't Answer??? I usually check strange numbers calling in as I don't really have many credit accounts or reasons for anyone to call in other than famly adn friends. I think I may just start answering the phone and see what this is and try and add myself to those who "give it back to them". The unwanted, unsolicted calls seem to be coming in like clock work these days. I'm over it!!
Just got a call from 770-783-5969. Easily identified as a scam. I am in the middle of a school loan and this just happen to come at a really good time. Good thing I'm not stupid enough to give these scamers my info. Was wanting to verify "information" and said they would deposit money to my bank within 48 hours. They also went on about free gas cards and other things, very repetitive. If you call as a blocked number or different phone it either says someone elses name or it just says you like this, "We have been trying to reach... YOU".
Received multiple calls from this company. Apparently they are solicitors for auto loans. Fraudulent claimsnumber they are calling from 770-783-5969
Yes, just got the same call and the CID said "Don't Answer". Bizarre, but we didn't answer, then read all of these posts. Now I've seen it all.
I received this call on my cell phone that is on the do not call list. I do not answer any numbers I do not recognize so it wasn't answered.

Caller said they were from FNBO and wanted to verify information about a credit increase/application. I hung up because I have not applied for any credit or credit line increases.
