Thank you, Jim. I filled out the form you suggested.These people are losers but they are being paid by someone and that someone is violating our law.
Received a call. It played a message about credit cards and gave 1 as the only option to talk to someone. No option to opt out. Called the number back later and message says number is no longer in service.
You might not be behind on anything now, but you will be behind financially if the card service scammers fool you into giving them your credit card number!
I am sooooooooooo sick of these calls. I am on a Federal No Call list. Why am I still getting these calls?
You are still getting calls from the card service scammers, because they are exactly that, druggie cons and ex- con scammers. Criminals don't obey laws, including he do not call list.
We have been receiving calls from these scumbags frequently for years. Blocking is difficult because they change their 'caller ID' numbers frequently (which are spoofed, they are not the actual number). Nothing has worked to date (Do not Call Lists, complaints to the state and the feds, requesting the caller not to call in the future). My current tactic is to keep the caller on the phone as long as possible without giving them any factual information. Time is money for them.If you have the time (and can control your temper), you can have a lot of fun at their expense. Just do not give them any of your personnel information (name, DOB, SSN, last four of the SSN, card number, card expiration date....).
another call saying this is my final notification about lowering my credit card interest rates.I didn't answer but they left a message on my machine. Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
