I live in Kuwait and received this strange call. Didn't recognize the number and refused to answer.
Hi guys! I got a call from this # as well when I requested for a brochure from 'online university' which was the 1st search result on Google. I spoke to Mr Adam ONeill for about 45 mins who explained me the whole Business Management course I was interested in. He took me through the website to provide me the details of the course & showed me the legitimacy of the university thru CNN report etc. Mr O'Neill really sounded like a nice gentlemen but was adamant that I enrolled over the phone with him. I wasn't sure & told him I needed some time to think it over to which he got angry & hung up on me. I'm still researching more on this but this website doesn't have .edu domain but its the 1st website on Google 'Gibson University'
my dear friends, i have got 22 miss calls from this number read this very carefully...if you going for online study or online dealings pease dont give your phn no before cheking the proper security,if you ever fill a application on www.online degreeprofs.net..then this call is coming from this sight.. so dont callback here.this could be harmful.

I live in Abu Dhabi i received several calls from this number and another number +1 510 948 3221about the same subject Midtown University in USA and scholarships 50% discount for students living in UAE

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
