They just phoned, and as I did not know the number I just let it ring, phoned back to discover the number is not assigned....

Received a call from these people today (1:26 pm) saying I won 100,000 Air Miles points. Then I got passed on to someone else who wanted to know whether I am the holder of a valid credit card Visa, MasterCard or Amex. I refused to answer. Someone else came on to ask me my name, at which point I said that if I really did win 100,000 Air Miles point, they must have my name. When she started her pitch, I hung up on her.... What a world!!

This number phones my house and my cell...I did bite the first time b/c I do have a Costco Membership and what a mistake!! Could not get the person off the line and ended up hanging up. I put in a complaint to Costco for how they let my numbers get out....

I tried calling the number back because they called my cell phone but didnt leave a message - 1-780-947-8989 isnt even in use...must be a scam!!!!

Call just came in to my cell, I missed the call but no message left.

Missed call...no message...call came at 3:44 on my cell.

This phone number (780-947-8989) called me at work on my cell phone, and I missed it. They left no message. I told my brother about this, and he told me that he got a call from the same phone number, and he missed it also because he was at work when it came through on his cell. We do not know ANYONE in area code (780). This should be checked by the R.C.M.P. for a phone scam

This number phoned me - I answered within two rings - nothing when I answered - I hung up. Very annoying

Called September 8, 2010 at 7:52pm and left no message, I'm located in Ottawa & my number is on a do not call list.

message simply stated I was the winner of 100,000 bonus airmiles then transferred me to a person who tried to book me for a vacation. They would not identify who they were or where they were calling from - but did ask if I had a valid credit card
