Stupid electronic female voice stating I was a prized customer or some bs like that hung up.
So-called "you have won a prize", hung up immediately to keep the call cost down; REALLY dislike getting unsolicited spam calls on my cel. In BC. Sep 02, 2010.
Missed the call while at work....googled the number and found this thread...I won't be answering that number
I got a call from them this afternoon in Durham Region. It was 230 this afternoon. When I answered, they said that I was a valued Costco member, and to push one. I just hung up. Its nonsense. My cell phone provider says " we cannot block numbers from calling a wireless device" BLAH BLAH BLAH
called my cell today but left no message [toronto, ontario @ 6:10pm 08Sep10]
Yeah... they said that I won 100,000 Air Miles ... just press 0. I hung up and looked up the number on the internet, and low and behold ... a scam in the works. I dialed back to the number and Bell said that the number was not assigned. I don't know how they are able to call from unassigned numbers? That will make it more difficult for the police to track them down I bet.
Called at 256pm the automated message says dear valued AIRMILES customer, you have won 100 000 miles to accept press 1.
Called me 12:26pm July/28/2011 - VancouverAutomated message saying press 1 to claim prize of 100, 000 airmiles. Was connected to a man who I could barely understand asking me if I had an airmile card. Then asked if I had a VISA card. Hung up.Scam.

It sucks. Scam calls are getting wilder than ever — they’re even spoofing IRCC’s number now.
So when you pick up and hear that little ‘beep…’ at the start, it’s usually a scam.
Just hang up without hesitation

When you answer the call, it seems like there's nobody on the other end. It looked like a number worth blocking. Yes, I did.
