I have seriously been considering receiving the call (I ignore them now), recording it (in CA only one person needs to be aware of a phone recording) and then asking them who they are, what company they represent so I report the company for spoofing caller ID which is illegal.I know some collection agencies, sales people and even charities do this...

This #800 111 1111 call my phone every day and hang up on me if you don't stop I will file charges againsts you.

This is a scam number.

This phone number called me today asking if I had been receiving my magazines, saying there would be an upcoming five year renewal and that they could cancel that but I would have to pay for the 20 months that I got from participating in a survey or a sweepstakes of some sort. I asked her to give me specific details on how I ended up subscribing to these magazines and she just kept repeating "all that is showing in my system... blah blah blah" They knew some of my info but as I was on the phone I looked up the number and saw all this... I hung up on the women and they have not called back...DEFINITELY a scam!

800-111-1042. IS ANOTHER PH # Calling from India, saying I was chosen to receive a US Grant.They're lying cursing scammers. If you tell them you are onto them. They go BERSERK! Very humerous!

This dumb f**k, who couldnt even speak coherent english, tried to say I had been chosen to receive a US Grant.He had to repeat it five times, even though I finally understood him after the 3rd time, it was fun making him repeat his broken english bull sh*t. I then told him to take my Grant money and use it to wipe his As* & then use it to wipe his lying mouth.He started screaming sh*t no one could of understood, I was LMAO. He then hung up.

I received a call from someone with a foreign accent that was saying he was from Washington DC with the government calling about a grant. I was part of a group of 1500 people in my state that was chosen to receive a $9,9??.00 grant. The number that came up was 1-800-111-0011. I let him get through explaining the 3 options for payment before I hung-up on him. I'm sick of these [***] taking advantage of vulnerable people!

I just take calls like this and put phone on mute and just answer the call and leave it until I hear that they disconnected. I can say that on my P/U I hear a water drop sound.

SCAM!! Could hardly understand what the caller was saying but he said he was calling from the US Treasury. I was told that I am 1 out of 1,700 selected to received a $9,800 government grant because I paid my school loans on time and have never filed bankruptcy. They ask me how old I was and if I was employed part-time or full-time. I told them they should already know that since they are the "government". The caller was irritated and told me to call (646) 797-3008 for verification. The callers name was Ronald and he gave me a verification number to reference. I called this number and a lady with a Vietnamese accent answered. I asked her what her company was regarding and she ask me "why you call me?" I told her it was because they called me and ask for me to call this number. She said I was speaking bad to her and hung up on me. I was simply asking her a question. Please do not answer these calls. No one wants to work anymore.... all thieves!!Caller: US Treasury
