Has anyone received a phone call from all 1's 111-1111. I did and it was a survery. The questions seemed harmless enough but when I asked what the survey is for and what company they are from, she didn't answer and just kept asking questions. It was only a 8 question survey and none of the questions asked for personal info which I definitely would not give out. They just asked if you use the internet or the phone to look up companies and stuff like that about websites. Seemed harmless but then after I hung up, I started to worry what that was all about. Has anyone else had an experience like that? It didn't show up as 800 on my phone, just 111-1111. Anyone else relate?
what do you mean a gang? what can happen if you answer the phone? I answered some survey questions but never gave them any info? What is this one thing all about - what kind of gang?
Received a call today, they left a message, I was not home. It seems someone in my house has been named in a complaint, a warrant as well and I was given a bunch of numbers to use to get the warrant references and the charges involved. According to the message it is from the Federal gov. Can't be them, they would send a registered letter or Fed officers to serve the papers. I have no intention of giving these nuts the time of day let alone a phone call.
Magazine subscriptions you don't know about and you did not pick to be sent to you? If it does not sound right, it is not. Don't give your name, DOB, or CC info. If they have it they should not need you to tell them. Do look for a charge on your card for 79.99. You will need to report it a a fraud and get a new card.
