I’m at work where I can not answer my phone and this number is calling me every 15 mins. It’s a little excessive during the day when a lot of people are wking !
More than ever convinced this is a SCAM - the name of the so-called company calling has changed several times in these posts. Scammers use the names of legitimate companies. I did call the 800 number trying to identify the source since I had NO bill to reference. The man who answered spoke heavily accented English - (hard to understand) and wouldn't tell me which hospitals or doctors were represented. I told him NO bill, NO personal information and hung up. How do these disgusting scammers find out who has had recent surgery??
6 days ago (April 5) I got a call from 877-222-4217 and a robot voice told me that I owed money to Anesthesia Associates. Thinking that I had payed all my bills for the surgery back on Jan 24 I ignored it. Today I got a call from 800-222-1442, again the robot voice with no details (except for my name). Called the surgeon who referred me to the anesthesiologist (local number, not a toll-free) who gave me a different number and that got me to a human who told me all the details of my bill, the amount owed, and he is mailing me a bill which will include what insurance paid. So, this isn't exactly a scam but I would say call your local anesthesiologist don't call this number back because I wouldn't trust them to have accurate information.
I would think if you had forgotten one of the bills from your surgery, you would have received something in the mail. Several times. Long before a debt collector called you.Definitely don't pay this caller. Wait for the bill from the actual anaesthesiologist.

Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.

This number keeps calling me. The message they leave is like a clicking sound. No one speaks. Very odd. I’m blocking this number

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!

Supposedly from Florida toll service saying I owe a toll of $12.51 and to pay now to avoid $50.00 late fee. My vehicle w/tag hasnt been on a toll road. Fraud call or mistake by State of FL. SCAM!
