The telephone calls come at the same time every Thursday sometimes about 9 times one after the other in a sequence. It is so frustrating and once I get the telephone calls my cravings vanish.

This call is from CIGNA HealthCare Contacts. They usually want to ask me a question about my existing group CIGNA coverage. They refer to the number as 800-CIGNA24.

Hi CIGNA.... Don't you think it's about time you put your companies name on your 800 number, so the general public can know who is call them. It's called the U.S.A. Patriot ACT. Get Smart before someone charges you with Harboring fugitives or some other kind of heinous crime.

This number called me this afternoon at 1:48. My caller ID read Cigna. The woman on the other end was calling for a member of my household who has Cigna health insurance. The person said she was calling about available Cigna health insurance programs. She said the person could call back and his earliest convenience.

I have received 7 calls within 2 hours from this number. I finally answered, no message had been left. They claimed to be from China and wanted information about my most recent hospital stay. I thought that info was private but the red flag for me was when they didn't have the correct date I was at the hospital. I immediately asked to be taken off their list and not contacted again.

They claimed to be from Cigna, not China. Sorry, autocorrect.

This is Cigna. They called to follow up on an issue I had called about the previous week. Very nice and polite.

Please give me a call.

This is a fake number for Cigna. Look on your insurance card for correct information. This is a scammer looking for you to give them more info about you. Don't answer!

Call from 800-244-6224 came in at 8:54PM at NIGHT! RED FLAG!! Caller sounded foreign and call was very staticky. His name was Jowen and he said he was from Cigna Healthcare and asked to verify my name and DOB. I did not provide any info and asked why are you calling me? He said he was as a care associate to offer their services and support from the case management program. I asked for a call back # and he provided 855-569-1933. He asked if he could have a case manager reach out to me. I said why are you calling me at this hour?? Shouldn't you be calling during normal business hours? And hung up. THIS WAS A SCAM AND THEY SPOOFED CIGNA'S PHONE #.
