I reference to "if you had better credit" I have excellent credit and used Wachovia for my new car loan.

same as above - just bought a certified used car from a toyota dealership, financed it through Wachovia dealer services and all of a sudden started receiving daily calls from this number -- no messages. no payments are due under the loan yet so i'm not delinquent, i guess they're just trying to telemarket me for more services, etc. -- very, very annoying.

Got call from this number- asking for my husband information about new car last 4 digit his number. Please be aware-

I rec'd three calls from this number on my cell. I did not answer. No voice mail left. Calls came one after the other. I used Skype to call the number. Waded through the phone tree. Finally, gave up and just pushed whatever on the phone tree to get me to a live person. It's Wachovia. Indian voice, I think. I told her about the calls and to remove me from their telemarketing list. I have not had any more calls.

That's why they hang up immediately. They don't give you the chance to take your name off their list.

A "Mexican" voice??? Wow...obviously this gentleman considers everyone with a Spanish accent to be Mexican, and by the tone I'd assume he understands that term to have a negative connotation. I know, it's not the point of this site, but still.

I just got a call from this number. The girl told me she was from Wachoiva Dealer Services. She stated she needed to verify some things on my account. The first question out of her mouth was for me to verify my SS#. I giggled and told her I could but I wasn't going to. I advised her I had already received my confirmation letter from Wachovia w/all account info. She abruptly said "Ok then, have a great day" and hung up. If it was so important for them to verify my info, she sure did hang up very quickly. I bank w/Wachovia and have NEVER had the bank call me to verify info. We did just buy a car 2 weeks ago and the financing went through them.

Number called private residence. Left no message. Called June 22 at 12:43 p.m. PT.
