This could actually be a number for ExpressScripts that has been spoofed so some people get legitimate calls (the ones saying a prescription will be filled) while other people get calls asking for info they shouldn't give to random callers.

I just got one of these calls several minutes ago. I did not provide the requested information, aside from responding "yes" to my name.Since the call seemed to be referring to a prescription, I checked the pill bottle for my only prescription medicine, which *is* filled by mail. The bottle does have "Express Scripts" printed on it - in approximately 3-point type, not very useful in the context of attempting to verify an active phone call. The bottle also has an 800 number, but it is different from the number being discussed here.I called the number on the pill bottle, to report either an phishing scam, or a company practice which is indistinguishable, in real time, from a phishing scam. Because the customer service tech could confirm that I was, in fact, scheduled to be telephone-notified about a refill, I conclude that these calls a both legitimate and profoundly stupid, even dangerous.These calls are essentially "Everything's OK!!!" alarms that will habituate customers into falling for third-party scams.

Be careful...it's not express scripts. They are fishing for your date of birth.

ANY number can be spoofed, so while the call was legit for you, they may NOT be legit for other callers. Please keep that in mind

Express scripts had just called me and my caller ID..said just that..not 2 minutes later this number called me that said toll free..I didn't answer..If the call says toll free or unavailable I never answer..I let the answering machine do it. Express scripts always identifies itself with caller id..

I also get scripts from Express Scripts and I do get calls from the same number. The calls I get are all automated though...to tell me my scripts are being filled and when to expect them. There has never been a live person asking for info.

Meaning that the number was spoofed by a scammer

When Express Script calls with a refill reminder, it rolls to voice mail, and you hear a part of the automated message.This number didn't leave a message.

They request a date of birth as confirmation of identity before releasing sensitive information.
