Called me on a Saturday at 6:50 in the morning. (woke me up) Guy with accent said he was calling from Direct TV. (I am NOT a customer) I asked him if he realized what time it was and hung up. This violates the FCC rules.

This number appears on my phone as a missed call but the phone never rings so I don't know who is calling.

Tired of these calls from turd world countries. When is the FCC going to crack down on this?

This number keeps calling me: Muliple times a day. And the guy I spoke to told me to go [***] my self. which is always pleasant.

i just got called from 800-531-5000.they said that they are DirecTV. they offered a deal which is $49.99.i was not interesting about that AND THEN THEY JUST HUNG UP WTF!!SO MEAN.....

Received a call with the Direct TV phone number on my caller ID. This is a SCAM. They are spoofing/putting up a fake phone number to show on your caller ID. IF you have Direct TV, they will offer you the full package with the sports package for 2 years at $59.99 a month, no contract, can cancel anytime, and you get a $100 Amazon Gift Card. You are told you have to pay 6 mo in advance now for this offer. I put the agent on hold, called Direct TV, Spoke with a Supervisor who guaranteed Direct TV will NEVER ask you to pay money in advance for any promotions. They verified that this is a Scam. The scam agent was foolish enough to give me a call back number in case we got disconnected - 888-488-7706 x1029 gave the name Daniel (He is from the Philippians), This is not Direct TV. This same number has been looped in with many other scams.

This number has called me 13 times today. A man with an Indian accent called over and over saying he is with DirecTV

Called 3 times within 1 hour. This idiot calls all the time. Fortunately, I have the call on Caller Block on my phone, so it never rings. Looked up the number on this site, and found it to be a scam call from supposedly Directv. I currently have Directv, and know that they don't make offers like this. If they call, and you see the number, block it. I figure the number is spoofed, and not the actual number from Directv. See the post on this site from Mandi, on 10 Mar 2016. She verified from Directv that it's a scam.

Called my house at 6:27 AM. Didn't answer the phone. This call is outside legitimate FCC calling hours.

Thanks, Mandi, for verifiying that the caller from this number is not from Directv. They call my number several times a month. See my post below. Of course, I ignore the call. What idiots!!!
