I have NEVER had AMERICAN EXPRESS card EVER, they call me every day for the last month 800-592-1160 and from the number 801-945-9062. Now that I know this IS A SCAM (Mr LOL is full of it, read above comments) and has been going on since 2009. These losers need to be stopped pronto. Reading through all of these comments. I want to file a small claim against AMEX , I called AMEX they said I have no account with them. They have no right to call when there is no account.

Left a voicemail on my work number, which I never give out, on a Saturday. FRAUD. Claimed to be American Express, which I don't have.

No, it's not a real number. I don't have an AMEX account and have never have had an AMEX account, yet they are calling me and saying my account has issues.

Its a scam. Told the guy to go away when he called and then I got an automated call from 'American Express" and to enter the last four of my SS number. Hung up. If you get the same and give up your information then you're the golden goose they're after.

The called here about an hour ago and asked for a family member who has not lived here since the early 90's, I said he does not live here. They started to ask me something I just cut them off saying BYE! and hung up. I do feel for the people that they take advantage of. I can be a telemarketer-scam artists worst nightmare. So if they or the shills see this, call back at your own risk, I WILL make you HATE your job,,and ME.

There's got to be something we can do about it I am on the Do Not Call Registry and always have been! These calls are getting out of control

I got a call from this number and verified with Amex that it is their number. Regardless, I wouldn't give any personal information unless I initiated the call even if the number matched the back of my card.

Been getting these calls frequently. Called Amex Platinum. They said it's not theirs, and they would refer the phone number to the Fraud department. I said I hoped they could negotiate something with these guys, like a plea bargain.

They call 2-4- times a day with a different number and need to be disciplined. Caller ID says American Express and I never answer....total fraud
