Got a call from this number yesterday. Today I reported these scam artist to the attorney general of Ohio. Maybe he can shut it down. I will be reporting them to the FTC after they tell me more about their call.

I did not receive a call, but I did receive a computer generated letter from "Estate Information Services, LLC" stateing an unpaid credit card bill left by my deceased husband and they need "pertinent estate information" to file the claim, but to quickly further the process I can send a check for the outstanding amount to the following address 2323 Lake club Dr, # 300, Columbus Ohio 43232. The funny thing is, we had payment protection on the credit card was was pd in full one week before I got this letter. Everyone please beware of people trying to scam you out of you money and playing on your vulnerablity.

I also did not get a ltelephone call but a letter saying I had indicated I was handling the affairs of a David Sumney and that they wanted a payment. The debt is to Citicorp. I have no idea who David Sumney is. The letter also looks like it was photocopied several times. Where do these people get our names from?

This company is not a scam. They are a debt collection company who is hired by various companies to handle decedent estates. I have only experienced the utmost professionalism from any and all of the employees that I have spoken with at the company. If you are willing to take the time to be polite and upfront, they will more than willing to help.

Brian...thanks for posting that.... my father recently passed and he left only debts. None of my sisters or brother co-signed anything and his 'estate' consist of a 1992 Buick & a second mortgage on the house. Turns out the house & the mortgage are about the same amount. Since I live here too, I decided to pay the mortgage but NOTHING ELSE. A Quitclaim Deed was notarized before he became ill but wasn't filed until after his death. I'm hoping that's not going to be a PROBLEM. Anyway, I did call back and left a message and have not heard back from them. I did receive a letter from them though and I'm going to fax them a cease & desist order. Again, thanks for the info!!!

*********IMPORTANT***********READ THIS...I was called by another number, probably owned by the same company. It was 1-800-604-6543I tried calling it back but it said it was unavailable to my calling area.I think this is a scam, as I only had these calls start shortly after I was scammed by UnitedDirectLending.com . They were very unprofessional after they had my money and stated that it would take 30 days to get it back. I actually should be reporting it to the police now as it has been 30 days and I have not received my initial payment ($1200 - My entire paycheck) back yet after cancelling the loan.DO NOT answer these calls. My guess is now that they stole my identity from the loan contracts they had me sign, and they have my number, they are just going to keep trying to scam me.Report these calls to your local police department, as they are scams. Show them this posting. I will bookmark and post back when I have filed a police report with Halton Regional police.

I am constantly harassed by receiving calls from (800) 604-6543. When I try tocall back the number, my attempt "flies into thin air." I reach no one.I did however, quickly answer two (2) of the calls when the number showed upon my Caller ID. Upon my answering the first time, the caller immediatelyhung up on me.On the second call I answered, I asked the male who was "at the other end"what his name was. He sputtered off something about some company'sname. I said, "No, I want YOUR name!" He responded that his name was"Paul Frazier."I warned him that the next call I ever receive from that number will be reportedby me to the F.C.C.It certainly appears that there's something fishy about these calls.

They called about my Dad's death and said I had to help settle an estate claim. No way my Dad had a claim because he was unable to do anything outside the home for the last 15 years. KENDRA was the person I talked to and I told her I could not help as there was no will to settle. She said they sent a letter to his address and it was the wrong address! I suspected it was a scam and said she would have to work it out without me. Phone number 1-800-604-5435 at extension 164. They asked me to reference a 7 digit claim number, also.

Repeated calls with that call back number & ext number & reference # Concerning my boyfriends estate (no estate left just debt) Threatened me with wage garnishment Then called two relatives threatening same Never identified the company Sara someone with a very heavy accent

I have no idea who this is, They kepp calling for my deceased husband. This lsat time they want to talk to the person in charged of paying off a debit, which I know for a fact that my husband DID NOT have.The callers name given was Eidth Johnson
