Gary from RMS, left a message and a reference # and that 1800 # to call back. I do owe some money, and this is the first call I get.

This is a collection agency collecting for Waste Management. They claim we owe money on a debt that occurred when we didn't even live at this residence. If it doesn't quit, I am going to sue. Sure would love to join others in a class action.

Well you had better call your local Waste Management. You KNOW darn good and well we could not POSSIBLY have run up a bill in June 2009 when we didn't move here until October 1st, and didn't start service until October 14 2009. The people in your office don't give a care. They just want money we don't owe. I will be calling an attorney who handles this sort of case tomorrow, as well as the BBB and the FTC. I've always wanted to own my own collection agency, and I think RMS is just as good as any other.

My parents are getting phone calls from 800-613-1545 asking for me. I have no idea who they are or how they got my parent's phone number. They are calling on Sundays which is illegal. I want the calls stopped!

Just a word to the wise if you want a call from US to stop at RMS and you are a Consumer then tell them to stop calling. Its called a cease and Decease. We take your # off and stop calling as we are regulated by law to do so. Trust me we do not want to talk to you just as much as you do not want to talk to us. Business do not fall into protection with the FDCPA laws because they only protect the consumer. Also it is not illegal for a collector to call you on a Sunday. You can look up the laws on the internet under FDCPA LAWS. Just an FYI. Just a little helpful info. Oh and another thing, if you claim you have paid a debt and your in collections then you HAVE TO SEND IN PROOF THAT THE BILL WAS PAID! If you have no proof then you obviously didn't pay the bill and if you did all you have to do is send proof. The calls magically stop! Would be suprised how much further you get by not acting like an a**h*** and just taking care of your responsabilities! We collect for multiple companies in many different states and countries.

Received call from this # , was a gal, probably 40ish, they are from...RMS and it's a personal matter...I hung up..
