Received a call this evening. Was told to hold for importan message and then there was nothing. I hung up.I am sick and tired of this company. I wish I had known how horrible they were to deal with.
they call during my grace period and actually say that I am behind when i'm not...cant wait to refinance with another company...
They have called my home phone 6 times today. I thought that was against the law, they can't call more than 3x's a day. They never leave a message and I have had to turn the ringer off the phone.
This number called me claiming to be with Country Wide mortgage asking for my social security number and I said no way. A man who sounded of Indian said I owed one hundred and eighty some odd dollars for some reason. I do have an account with CW but it is paid up to current date. I told him I would call him right back after I looked at my statement. I also did a search for this number in webcrawler and found it to be the number for Disaster Affected Borrowers to contact Country Wide Financial Corp.. Not sure whats going on.
I just got this call called back entered in the info and got a countrywide rep. I certainly hope this is not some scam as I just gave the information via touch pad over the phone. My account is not past due and I had Country Wide note my account about this incident.
Received several calls from this number, called back and had to make up a non-existent SSN and address. Since the VR system couldn't help me, I finally made it through to a CSR. She was very polite and after I explained that I don't have any accounts with them, I asked to have my cell phone number removed from their calling list. Hopefully, they will follow through.
I got a call stating that it was Countywide Home Loans and to call them back. I don't have a loan with Countywide, but wanted to call them since I am on the Do Not Call list. When I did call it was a collection agency. THe call was automated and wouldn't let you talk to anyone without a loan number SS# and property ID.
It's Countrywide and I have already paid my mortgage this month!! between them and Wells Fargo it's hard to say which is worse. They call constantly even though my bills are set up to come out electronically the day they're due. I wish Countrywide would go bankrupt I would rather deal with the federal government than them. Does that tell you anything about their customer service??BTW ~ all it ever says is "please hold please hold" then it disconnects!
