Scam number

As all others mentioned, when calling back an automated message states it's a Wells Fargo Mortgage line.Two things have me confident it's a scam:1) I am a college student with no mortgage. My mother is not with Wells Fargo, so her mortgage finances aren't a possible reason for the call.2) I just changed my number this week (new phone), and have not yet updated my contact information with Wells Fargo. They have no way of knowing how to reach me at this point.Any financial related issues I've ever gotten calls about, they have left a voicemail. This one seems to never leave one.If you are worried about mortgage payments, call Wells Fargo directly from a number on their website (1-877-937-9357 found on wellsfargo.com/mortgage).

I keep getting calls to my work from this number. Always an automated message saying Wells Fargo calling regarding my home mortgage. I don't even have mortgage or bank account with Wells Fargo. Its be a call a day since 8/21/2015. Its driving me nuts!

Has nothing to do with paying your mortgage. This is a sales call with WF trying to get you to use their other produces

They had our monthly mortgage amount. They said the amount paid was only principle and we need to pay the interest

Just received an envelope hanging from my door stating "Confidential" inside was a tiny piece of paper with the same info as listed above by other reporters..Dear Borrower: (no name)Urgent notice: (no date)Contact Mortgage provider immediately. With this phone # 800-678-7986Best part is I don't know a Mortgage company that will deliver anything that isn't this important without certified letter.. also this had to have been placed after 9pm last night on my door and before 6am this morning. So I'm calling total bs on this! Also my mortgage is up to date and always has been for the past 11 years.

Must be a scam. I have never had any dealings with WF.

They just called me & I don't have a mortgage with them either.

A piece of paper labeled "confidential" was taped in front of my gate asking to contact my mortgage company. First, no date, name except with the number 800 678 7986. THIS IS A SCAM!
