They just keep calling. How do you stop them? No one is their if you answer.

i too have that situation from homeq to ocwen... the say the payment is due on the 1st. however you are not late actually till the 16th of the month yet they will call 3 or more times a day inbetween those dates if your payment is not there on the 1st... what we need is a class action lawsuit to put them in there place

Ocwen is my mortgage servicer, and they definitely did me right when they modified our mortgage. BUT, the calls from them DO get out of hand. I thought this might be their number, and sure enough it is, but the last two days, they've been leaving voicemails in SPANISH on my home phone. The following is the transcript that Comcast sends me: ".(?) favor de llamarnos al uno ocho siete dos 7462936. Gracias y que tenga un buen día." I won't be calling them back. They're either calling because the payment I made yesterday hasn't cleared yet (and even though it's due on the 1st, we have a grace period), or because as someone else said, they're trying to sell something. That does seem to be the way Ocwen makes their money, is trying to sell you additional insurances, and coupon offers and crap to add onto your monthly mortgage payment.

Go to ocwenwatch.blogspot.com for more information on them.They are under investigation for being nothing more than a bunch of offshore call centers.They are selling customer information to Intersections Insurance (who sell junk and have been implicated in wire fraud). Intersections' stock, symbol INTX is about to crash. So is Ocwen's, symbol OCN, because of their shady business practices.

This is Ocwen Financial. They service my mortgage and, being due on the first and not having been paid yet, they are trying to contact me. Can't wait to sell this damn house!

We are in the midst of selling our home. Ocwen is the mortgage holder. We are up to date on our payments, except for the current month because we are selling/closing this month. Yet this stupid company calls us 3-5 times a day. Today - Sunday - they called us 5 TIMES BEFORE 8AM!!!! I advise any and all to not do any business with this company. I read above on how when OCWEN raised payments on a mortgage when they purchased it - they too did the same to us - WHICH IS ILLEGAL TO DO!!!!!! Stay away from these scum suckers!!!!

Ocwen leaves message at all hours asking that I call them. Of course they do not say which option to push.When I answer the phone there is no one there. The one time that there was someone there (Rasheed) he asked me my name and then hung up.

I have been receiving calls from 800746-2936 for the last several days that reads "800 Service" on my caller ID. I have not answered those calls but, this afternoon, I called back and the recorded message asked for the last four digits of my Social Security Number. Obviously, I did not do that. I entered 9999#. The recorded message said "that number does not match our files", so I entered 0 (as in zero) and was transfered to a live representative. Yes, I agree with other comments here that the person on the other end of the phone had a strong Indian accent. He asked me for my name and I refused to give it to him. I gave him the number he had dialed and told him to remove it from their data base inasmuch as I do not and never had owned a home. Ocwen obviously has been given some kind of mortgage portfolio collection database with "the last known name and phone number". He said he could not remove my phone number from their data base unless I would provide my name. I said: "That is NOT correct and that I intend to file a complaint directly to their published address(es) as well as with the Fair Trade Commission, the BBB, and whatever agencies I can think of." I asked him if any of the contact names they had for this account had a last name starting with the letter of my, personal, last name. He said "No". At which point, I reminded him that the number they have been calling does NOT have anything to do with ME and to cease and desist immediately. Whatever you do, do NOT enter the last four digits to ANYONE who calls YOU. They should already have it if, indeed, they have a legitimate reason to be contacting you. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!! Know your rights! And stand up for yourself!

They call every day around the same time. When I answer, a mostly unintelligible thing comes on the line, and fishes for first names. He won't disclose what the call is about. These people are vermin. Somebody needs to shut them down for good.

I just got the same not 1 minute ago, would not give them any info, also sounded like someone from india
