my husband would answer the phone and just hang up . until i answered and did the survery i got 10 dollars from then. the 2nd survery i got wasn't bad either.. i wrote about how viacom removed my channels so hopefully that makes a different

Hmm ... continue to call even tho' person who answers asks not to be called? Repeatedly?You might consider reporting to phone company as harassment - yes, harassment - if you've asked not to be called again.Analogous to Trespass - once you've asked someone to get off property & not return, they must leave. They can't keep coming back again & again ... Your telephone company should then be able to block # .

How many times do I have to say 'no' to these endless questions? I say 'I read NO newspapers' and she says I have to read off each and every name on the list. So for half an hour I say "no", "no", "no". How irritating is that? Talk about not taking 'no' for an answer! Finally after being on the phone for over 30 minutes I had to cut the survey short. The next five minutes were spent trying to convince the caller that I did not want to finish. I did not even want to start! But I could only get off the phone was by agreeing to her trying trying to call again. Why do we have to put up with this? It is truly a captivation of free will. We are on a list and cannot get off! How did I get on?????? This is a violation of FCC regulations, especially when these calls come in after 9:30 PM. Apologies just don't cut it for calls at that hour.

A few minutes prior to 10 p.m. is not the appropriate time to make any type of business call. Even the political calls that are not stopped by the "do not call" list, do not call past 9p.m and are rarely that late.

We get a call every day even though it has been made clear several times we are never going to participate in the survey. I could care less about marketing research. When asked to be removed from the list I am told they can't do it.. annoyance is turning to frustration and anger over the past MONTHS!

I also got a call from the number, they say that they are NOT selling anything, dont know about that one, also said that they have been doing this for the past 35 years, that one I can believe, then he said that the BBB and the chamber of commerence will maybe be calling back to ask a few questions, then he gave his 1-800 number, and alo gave out their website address. but from what I've read from these other people. there are a lot of them who have also gotten this call as well, me just like a lot of other people are on the Do Not Call List, but I have really never known if that actually works or not.....

Why don't they use social media to contact people? Everyone except anyone over 65 is online. However, even my 74 yr old mother in law got rid of cable...and uses Roku. Sooooo...."calling" is so 1990s.
