This is an inbound Customer Service number for Wells Fargo, there shouldn't be any outbound calls coming from it for this type of thing (Travelers Advantage, etc.). More than likely if you're receiving these types of calls and someone asks you to verify acct. info the number is being spoofed...don't fall for it.If you receive an email that seems "phishy" Wells (and most other financial service providers) provide security emails and/or telephone numbers on their respective websites you can report this to. Wells in particular includes a fraud link in EVERY email they send out; it's one way to tell if their emails are legitimate or not...just fyi.

Return of the Wells Fargo caller ID spoof; message: "Andrew Hewlett, Wells Fargo Online Executive Office...blah, blah...call back ...blah, blah... Mountain Time at 866-218-1922," which is well know spoof area code + exchange combo.

Same here, exact same thing, they took about $2000 from my account, they used the same third party "Zelle"I'm just wondering if these issues are inside jobs from Wells Fargo Bank employees.I can't believe this types of people even exists, what a waste of oxigen.

This is Not Wells Fargo, they are scammers spoofing the number, trying to steal your money, it is very easy for them to start stealing money, thanks to Equifax , now they have your Name, Address, Phone/s SS# Drivers license. very easy for them to access your Bank Account and dry you out, my suggestion, close your online account access completely, if you need to know your balance, call the bank, online banking is very insecure .Specially when they have all your info.

I received phishing calls from what appeared to be a legitimate Wells Number, but was not. Please beware if someone calls you from 'Wells Fargo" saying that they sent you a verification code and are looking at suspicious activity. FRAUD
