T-mobile on caller ID today. They called 3 times to my home number, back to back.I didn't answer first one.Answered 2nd call but no one responded. Answered third call and a man with foreign accent asked for me by name, but I told him no one here by that name, as I thought he was some kind of scammer. He was polite, apologized for call.A few minutes later, I was contacted by my credit card company - someone was using my card number to make $1.00 charges to T-mobile, Verizon, and paypal.Apparently this is a way of checking to see if card number is any good.I cancelled card.If the caller was actually from T-mobile, he may have been trying to notify me of suspected fraudulent use of my card number.Or he may have been the one using my card number...Hope they don't have rest of my info.I've never used paypal or t-mobile.
called an hung up after 03 seconds I have only been a virgin mobile customer and have fios at home Also on do not call list
I've switched my voice mail to www.youmail.com and that allows me to assign a custom voice greeting to each caller. I do not answer 800 calls, ever, and I have assigned that T-Mobile 800 number to a very rude 'don't ever call again' message. I suspect they called to try to sell me their new texting service as they texted their pitch a few days ago and I have not responded. (Calling an 800 number delivers all the caller ID information about you, even if you have blocked it.)For those that have the T-Mobile phone router, DO NOT DO THE HARDWARE UPGRADE. There is a whole blog of people that did the upgrade in Dallas and now their home answering machines will not work. Somehow T-Mobile programed the DTMF tones to be so quite that your answering machine cannot hear the commands you type to erase, skip, replay, etc. T-Mobile denied the issue for a month until several of the people complained to the PUC. Now they are working on it but these people have been crippled for two months.
611 is customer service for tmobile. its cheap for tmobile customers and its easier then calling the 1800 #. DUH!!!
just called them to say this is ridiculous. they apologized briefly went over the plan, i declined, they said thank you and they promise no more call and texts
T-Mobile tried to call me and they stopped abruptly. I gave them an absolutely scathing response to their survey. Their billing processes suck, big time, and I'm sure they're concerned. I've already switched to Verizon
T Mobile calling to inform me my credit card is about to expire, guess it is time to get a new one :PYou people bashing them are idiots, maybe you shouldn't put your phone number when you buy their routers and other products other than cell phones. T Mobile is an international phone company that doesn't suck like Verizon.
My experience with them has been bad. It seems like salespeople have quotas to fill. "Since you have 2 lines with us, we will give you 2 free" Then my phone charges double due to the "free lines". My phone got stolen so I had to replace it. At the store i get the "Since you are gettting the iphone 6 "you will get a free screen protector and the otter case" Bill comes, and I'm being charged for it. Lastly I get a bill for mobile internet for a tablet that by their own admission I never ordered.
Text message last night. Pin #......to complete transaction or if you didn't request this pin please call 1 800 937 8997 or dial 611 from your TMobile Mobile phone. I called TMobile Customer support 877 453 1304. Someone tried to get into my account but wasn't able to. Straightened it out with the Support person.
