You people are idiots. This is T-Mobile's support line; you wouldn't be getting any calls from them unless you have an outstanding debt or have already done business with this company. They don't call people to solicit new business.
I JUST GOT AN AUTOMATED CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING TO UNPLUG MY ROUTER( I HAVE TMOBILE AT HOME)AND PLUG IT BACK IN IT SEEMED WEIRD
I agree with Tess. I just got this call from T-Mobile telling me to unplug my T-Mobile@home router to apply some software upgrades. Although it seemed strange to get an automated voice call rather than an e-mail, I do know a new firmware version of this T-Mobile@home router (made by Linksys) came out last month and I'm sure T-Mobile is trying to get everyone to cycle power to their router so the new firmware will be applied.
Got two calls from this number February 9th and 16th on my cell phone number. Both times ignored it to voicemail and they left no message.
12:17 am. (Not a T-mobile customer btw - Never have been as their service sucks) These dumb [***] call and hang up. 12 fricking 17 in the morning! Found this thread. Pissed off and wanted to vent. Once I confirm it is T-Mobile I will proceed to make sure they know beyond any doubts that they pissed me off. Jerks
Collection company playing games. There are apps that you can use to look like the call came from somewhere else! Beware of the [***]!!
I had a couple of questions to T-mobile customer service department and they asked me if I have an alternative phone number. I provided them my home phone number and they told me that they will call me back right away and asked me to turn off my T-mobile phone. They called me back immediately and this number (800-937-8997) showed up on my caller ID, BUT not under T-mobile, it just displayed 800 Service. This is definitely a phone call from T-mobile, no doubt about it, however, why don't they just display their company name as T-mobile on the caller ID is another question. Their customer service support and billing practices are terrible. 3 different representatives came up with 3 different service charges for overseas text messaging service and they admit that they need to look up their latest policy changes on their billings and I do not buy this it excuse.Do not deal with T-mobile at all, their staff personal seem to be poor trained and billing department is well trained to s@#k off your well earned money.
