100 percent guaranteed legitimate customer service phone number for Citicards. Yes they will ask you for your credit card number. If you don't have a credit card with them, you have no reason to call this phone number. This eliminates wasting your time and more importantly, their time. :D

LEGIT! Got a phone call from 800 - 950 5114, my credit card number was stolen and a few transactions were made, the bank suspected it and BOOM , great job Citi Card :)

I received a text message saying, 'Citi Cards Fraud Dept needs to speak with you about activity on your acct. Please call 8009505114 ASAP". Instead, I called the # on the back of my credit card and they transferred me to the fraud dept, who said they were NOT trying to get in touch with me. They also said they would NEVER send a text message in a real fraud situation. So even if the # is legit (though I still don't trust it), someone is using it nefariously!

"Citibank Anti-Fraud" Department called me and left the number 1-800-950-5114 on a message for me to call back. BUT, they called from the following number: 1-855-701-6943. The phone number is the National Rifle Association. Since I haven't used my citibank card in years (reflected on my monthly statements), I did not call either number. If they catch me on the phone, I just tell them to send me their issue through the mail and I'll read it. They have never sent me anything. This happens all the time. They try to get personal info from me. I don't give them any. Actually, John Smith isn't even my real name.

It was very suspicious at first, but I got to the bottom of it and it turns out to be legit. It's worth it to investigate and call citibank to clarify and avoid paying unnecessary charges but not acting up on time.Scary experience, but I can relax now.

I called CITI with the number on the back of my Citi Credit Card. They told me they have no record of this number as a valid CITI Bank Credit Card number. The number that called was 740-834-4000. I called back and they told me to call this number. They alsso have no record of the 740-834-4000 number being a valid Citi Bank Number. Be careful of both the numbers.

I was incorrect a few moments ago when I indicated that this number was a scam. It is NOT. I opened up my account on line and noticed a sentence in bright red reading Contact Customer Service immediately to avoid transaction interruptions at 1-800-950-5114. I called 866-775-0556 which is the number on the statement instead. The contact at Citi confirmed that the call to my cell AND the number on my updated statement were correct. Apparently someone hacked into my account and ran up a one time charge of $180 at a Wal-Mart somewhere. The card was immediately cancelled and a new one shourd reach me in less that a week.

It sucks. Scam calls are getting wilder than ever — they’re even spoofing IRCC’s number now. So when you pick up and hear that little ‘beep…’ at the start, it’s usually a scam. Just hang up without hesitation
