This FFG company is ALL over the net as a scam.....They are a such a terrific upstanding company that their website doesn't even rank as high as my personal website!2,452,513Alexa Traffic Rank In the last month they have dropped 80%:1 month 0.00001 -80% Change in Reach over the trailing 1 month period Federal Financial Group is a total scam perpetuated by calls from call centers in India....preying on idiots in the US. They only have one inbound link to their site which shows how valued they are as a financial partner. By comparison Merill Lynch: 12,345Alexa Traffic Rank Sites linking in? = 2,470These guys are complete and utter crap....don't believe me...look it up...
Hello guys and gals,I am an agent with FFG and you can ask me any question you like here. The reason I found this post is because I was doing my research about the company before I joined them. Here's my 5 cents on this discussion:1. Scratch card - yes I agree, it's a bit cheesy, frankly I am a bit embarrassed to bring the dang thing to an appointment but I always disclose how this marketing thing works and am always very frank about the purpose of the visit. I can’t stand the telemarketers that set these appointments because once in awhile I have to undo a lot of damage before I can gain the person’s trust. But usually we have a good laugh and move on talking about financial strategies. Almost everyone is impressed with the information they hear.2. FFG itself does not sell any products or services - it's an independent brokerage of insurance products from the largest insurance companies in the world. Calling this company fake is like calling 1-800-Dentist a scam for referring you to a dentist in your area. FFG is there to educate about various products and services from the insurance companies. 3. Please note how this thread came about. Simply because someone used the word scam, not because of an actual complaint or malpractice. You can Google the word scam nearly any noun in the universe and you’ll find something to feed your senses. Internet is becoming a big junk yard of irrelevant information. 4. For what it’s worth, I do apologies for the lame telemarketing calls. I hear when complaints are launched, these guys and gals are actually disciplines and they loose their jobs which is a bog deal for them if they in India. For the most part, I heard the telemarketers are courteous and friendly. But as they say every family has someone who’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. Feel free to leave any questions for me, will be glad to answer. Cheers.
They called my place of business, made an appointment with me and then never showed up! They just called and spoke to a co-worker of mine and she mentioned this too them, the lady on the phone looked up my name and then said she will look into it and call back. We will see...
It is a telemarketing call. Like all others, if you don't want to do business, tell them no and to put you on their Do Not Call list.I manage a call center where we make cold calls probably similar to those. My call center does not sell anything on the phone, therefore does not fall under the DNC registry guidelines. You don't have to agree with telemarketing methods, but you can agree if you solve your concern on receiving calls the first time with put me on your Do Not Call list. Setting appointments is not a scam. A scam is taking your banking or credit card info over the phone and not give you a product or service. We don't know to take you off of the list if you don't answer your phone and tell us to.
So you act retarded on the phone, but get mad and post that it is a scam on sites like this?
Fun thing to do - ask them for the name of the company of the call center that they are working for, address and main office number. When they tell you it's federal financial group, repeat that you need the name of the call center company that they are specifically working for. Tell them the call is being recorded and that they are under violations of FCC regulations. Get the name of the supervisor. At that point the sup will come on the phone. Repeat your questions, letting them know the call is being recorded. you will NEVER get a call from them again. Oh, and be nice while you're doing it. The job they do sucks enough as it is, you don't need to be mean. I just got a call from this group and they did not say anything when i picked up. I immediately called back- After a long recorded message about what they offer and setting up an appointment, they finally say "to be removed from the calling list simply leave your number after the tone" Guess, what...no tone happens. How are you supposed to "kindly ask" to be removed from the list when they don't talk to you when you DO answer their calls and they don't offer a message service?
