1-801-823-2027 keeps calling me 4 days straight at least 3 times a day!!!Finally I answered the phonecall and a guy said "We are surveying on behalf of Chase Bank." He actually knew my full name and that I bank with Chase. I asked him why the hell he knew my name but he didn't answer me.I called Chase Bank customer service and asked the staff why the survey people know my information unless Chase Bank leaks out.And she answered, "We sometimes call you to ask your recent visit at Chase Bank branches." So I asked her, "Then could you check #1-801-823-2027 is your phonenumber?" And she took a while to confirm and said, "No we don't use that phonenumber. You know what? It is a scam."I told her again, "How do they know my information unless you give them my information?" And she yanked at me, "But it is not Chase's fault!!" And hang up on me.It is really creepy. Even if it is not Chase Bank's fault, the Chase staff's attitude was really rude.I don't wanna use Chase Bank anymore!!!
I have been getting these calls daily 3-5 times a day for a week now. Same issue, never leaves a message. I am an employee at Chase and we have been informed there is a major phishing scheme out there right now. I am glad I looked this up and saw these comments. Please protect your identity and DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS!!!!
Its a survey from Chase Bank. It just so happened that i had visited both an ATM and a branch location within the time period they were asking about. I spent less than 5 minutes on the phone with the them. They just want to know how your experience was and how they can improve the experience of others. (its a lot of "On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate....")I used to work for a telemarketing company, so I understand that these people are just doing their job. Crack jokes with them...it will make light of the situation, and perhaps put a smile on both of your faces.
The number just called me I am going to call chase and see wtf is up. I am on a no call list as well.
PEOPLE, I'm on here just to shed some light for everyone getting a call from this number. IT IS NOT CHASE!!! As a matter of fact, it's not ANY business, but a couple of wanna-be identity theft criminals, where one also happens to be a prostitute in Utah. Put the phone number in the XXX-XXX-XXXX type format and you'll see that it also points to a craigslist advertisement for a prostitute. If anyone gets a call from this number you don't need to call Chase, you need to report it to the POLICE!
called yesterday evening for a relative the lady claimed to be from chase and asked when it would be best to call back. then today got another call from same # , didnt answer it and they didnt leave a message. lucky me i have means to block #s on my phone so believe me its now.
I received the same question today. They knew my name, however I did not divulge any account information. They wanted to know if I had visited a Chase branch within the past week. And more importantly, whether I had spoken with a branch representative or used the "drive-thru" (off choice of words). I called Chase and they knew nothing of this phone number. I reported it to Chase Fraud and also the FTC.
