This is the first time I receive this call on my new cel but got the same number before with my previous cel, I totally forgot so I answered since I have relatives in SC where the area code is similar! I listen to this recording at 1:52 CT When I heard in spanish (which I understand perfectly) You just won!! If you wanna receive your prize dial 1 this time I hung up cuz i know what is this about. The first time I went all the way after I dialed 1 a lady spoke sayin in order to claim my prize of $$ dlls She will need all my personal info including my ssn, of course this just to make sure no 1 else claims it. (Like I was born yesterday!!) So I just told her "if I won somethin shouldnt you know my info? How did you get my number? She said it was a random number they got from the phone book?!! I said then well first this is a private number which is not registered in the phone book (of course it was also my cel!) that's when I realized it could be easily identity theft. So be careful outhere and never give any personal info to strangers who came with their lies tryin to fool you saying you got a big prize, if they ask you for money or your ssn then drop it!Peace! ;-)

I've just got a call from that number too and told me that I was selected as a visa client to receive a $3000 voucher and then asked me my age. I told her my age and right away I ask her but how do I know that u r a real call and the lady hung up on me. Was a old lady voice with a Cuban Accent

I just got a call on my cell from this number. I didn't answer it--I have never done business with Craigs List. Anyhow, thanks for all the information everyone regarding this number!

Received a call from them May 31st, 2011 at 2:17 P.M. EST. Ignored it when I found out it was another number ending in "8989". No message was left.

Called me, I ignored it, and when I tried to call it back it said it wasn't a real number...?

Yah..It's same to me.....Rejected the calls....lol

Spanish speaking pre-recorded message. I don't speak Spanish and I don't want them calling me. Tell me where to sick my lawyers. I am on the do not call list and did not solicit for this!

I never give out my cell phone number to anyone but just got a call to it from this number.I didn't answer it.

I got a call from the above no. called it back, said sorry can't talk. I think it is a scam. I found you on the internet after calling the 802 number. Just making a record of it to be passed on.

They are not getting our phone numbers from anywhere. All they have to do is have their automated system punch in random numbers and they are going to ring into someone's, anyone's, phone. Eventually it is going to be yours or mine. Not a big deal. Just don't answer, or hang up when you realize it's a bogus call. The OUTRAGE over these kinds of calls is silly.
