July 14, 2011 ~ 3pm: Unwanted and expensive incoming call, from Spanish speaking woman, on my Virgin Mobile cell phone from (802) 949-8989.Is anyone minding this store?

yeah, i got this too. wouldn't let me call back. oh well, unimportant.btw, they did call me twice already.

Just received a call from this number, since I work from home, I have to answer all calls and it was a recording in Spanish, which I don't understand, so I just hung up.

After several people say they don't know who this is that is calling, or that they heard a recording in Spanish, and you replied with anything other than an answer to who it is, you have a mental disorder. It is like the people that answer questions in a forum with "I don't know" when the question isn't directed to them or about them. You are not so important that you have to answer every question posted to the general public when you don't have the answer. You saw 100 repeat posts and then thought to yourself, I better jump in here and let them know I don't know either??

I got a call from them yesterday. The call was blocked so I don't know who it is from but I don't answer calls from people I don't know anyways.

Tired of this caller and hang up all hours

I just posted an ad on Craigs today regarding an apt for rent and I also use Virgin Mobile, so I guess I got the double whammy? I have been using VM for 5 years now so I am thinking this has more to do with the fact that I posted an ad on craigs and someone somehow has access to the numbers used to verify a new account on that site. It's possible they have access to other sites as well. just another reason to change my phone number now that I'm not in Vegas anymore

Me too, I just received a call from this number 18029498989. Weird, I googled, and the number actually pop up!!!

didn't know the number, so i didn't answer. no message was left. i am glad i didn't answer
