company provided cell phone on DNC list, still getting calls

I pressed 1 to hear about the interest rates. The lady that answered said she was from "Account Services" I asked her account services for what company, she proceeded to state that that was the name of the company. (She was very inarticulate and pardon the phrase, "ghetto" sounding. I can't think of any other way to describe her accent, I apologize if that is offensive.) So I asked her which credit card she is making an offer for, she tells me we can handle all the credit cards you have balances on. She started getting a bit rude with me when I told her my credit cards were all with different companies so 6% across the board sounded too good to be true. She then asks what I was paying to begin with...I said, "I don't have credit cards, so I don't pay credt card bills." I figured that would trigger something. She started swearing at me, screaming at someone in the background wherever she was at and then slammed the phone down. When I tried calling back I just got a rapid busy signal.

Who are these people?

I keep getting calls from this # also, I am going to go to the store and purchase a small airhorn just for them so next time I will push 1 and give them a blast! it will be the best $10.00 I ever spent

received a call at 2:35PM this afternoon but when I answered the phone the call disconnected so was likely a telemarketing scam despite being on the Do Not Call Registry

Just got one of those calls myself. and when i got pissed off at them and reminded them that they called last month and I asked them to remove me from the call list last month of course no one knew about it. then, they had the audacity to call me back a few minutes later but this time they hung up on me. [***]! I know there is a way to trick the freaks. I'm gonna find it.

They called me last week and when I pressed one 1 a lady asked if I called to hear about credit rates, as if she had no clue which scam I was supposedly suckered into. When I said no she hung up. Today I got the call again and this time 1 got me some guy. I politely asked him to remove me and he asked me my number and city. I gave it to him but now realize he probably just added me to 10 more scam lists. Damn....
