what gets me when they call,is asking for the person by their first name like they know you a personal friend of theres then they threaten you by giving you a dead line when to call back.

This is not from Wachovia bank. It is RMC, a hospital debt collector.

This number used to call me all the time. It is RMC, a hospital debt collection agency. I've let them know I'm on SSD with limited funds so we agreed on $10 per month. I've made these payments but they still continue to call.

It's RMC. It's about unpaid hospital bills.

We owe them nothing but they called today. We have BlueCross insurance, which is a very slow payer. They did finally pay but not before the hospital sent the bill to RMC. Funny thing is that the hospital never called or sent us a bill. We just received a collection letter from RMC, and today a phone call at work. Just another example of how bad our health care system is screwed up. We need a government health plan to stop all this nonsense. BTW, try not to blame the poor fools who make these calls; they are just folks with no real skills trying to make a living anyway they can.

I have paid my hospital bill, yet still keep getting these calls. When I tell them I can send the copy of the check where I made the last payment, they tell me that they would not have the account unless it was not paid. Very difficult to work with these people.

I thought I paided all of my hospital expenses until I got a copy of my credit report which showed that I owed $77 to Receivables Management Corporation. I called the # listed on my credit report (803)776-2030 to enquire. After talking to the representative I told her that she didnot give me enough information for me to send my money to them. She said she would talk to her manager because others were complaining about the same thing. A few weeks later, I did receive the information in the mail. Thanks for your post because I won't send a check. However, I will send them a money order.
