If this is a bill collector, they do not identify themselves as such. If they are not a bill collector, then they are clearly trying to get people to call back and provide/confirm personal information. There is a recorded message saying they are calling from the "Process & Summons Division"...but they don't identify what organization or company. They claim that there will be two charges filed against you in "your county". It says, "Looks like fraudulent activity has attached to your name and your social security number." They state that you must address the charges filed against you prior to a summons being served at your place of employment or your home address; and that once a summons is served, your rights are forefieted, (which is nonsense). They give the same number they are calling from, but speak as if it's a different organization, (again, never identifying the organization or what type of charges supposedly exist), and tell you that you must speak to someone in "their Legal department".Clearly, there is no intent to file charges. Clearly, they are using scare tactics and not legit; making them the ones committing 'fraudulent activity'. I would love to speak to them to see what other nonsense they may try; but the two calls a day I receive occur during work hours and I can't take the calls.I'd like to know what person or company this is truly tied to. I expect it may be a debt collector...but trying to collect on a debt I no longer owe. I recently received a letter from a debt collector, trying to collect on a credit card I haven't had in 28 years and that was part of a bankruptcy 27 years ago; so I'm wondering if these clowns are tied to that.
I got the call today also. I also had my credit card used for over $1300 fraudulently last night, so something really bad is going on. I was really worried about this call today, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. It's scary that they had some of my information though. It worries me to wonder what is next....
Got the phone call that I have 2 counts of fraud attached to name and SS. Googled the number and and found it is a fraud.
These [***] need to be stopped. They call every day!!!!! Is everyone else from Florida? I live in Brevard County
I have gotten these calls for two days in a row now. At first they told me I had a credit card debt of which is 6 yrs. old now. And I will be receiving a summons to appear in court and if I do not pay what I owe I will go to jail. On the second day there was a message saying that I have two charges going to be filed against me and I need to call as soon as possible to avoid this. Just out of curiosity I dialed the number and get a recording saying they can not take my call at this time. I have been advised by my local Sheriff Office to file an Identity Theft Charge. I would advise anyone who gets these calls to take it straight to there local police or sheriff and file the same complaint. These people need to be stopped. And by all means NEVER agree to give them any money. THIS IS A SCAM. Also you can do your own checking with the credit bureaus and see what you have against your credit. There are totally free sites you can use. Be careful not to give them any more info than they already have. They had my social security number and said that is how they got my cell phone number. AGAIN THIS IS A SCAM. And just in case it isn't. They can put me in Jail. I need a vacation.
Someone called for me at my work and a recorded message stated that I had fraudulent activity on two charges. That I would be served for my arrest at work or address. But if I call the 804-420-4838 and give the case number and talk to their legal department, they could probably help me. I called the number, blocking my number and a man answered the phone stating Goldman and Associates. I asked him where they were located and stated that he could not give out this information.
call from Virginia last message saying I would be summoned for to fraudulent cases under my social security number ... call them back immediately back left on hold for 10 minutes hung up
Yes I just received a call from this company saying I owe $639 in a settlement for an online payday loan. I asked what company was this claim from they OPD solutions. She said that I would be served with a subpoena to appear in court to dispute this information and then she would not stop talking and let me ask questions, She ended up hanging up on me because I kept asking her who was the creditor and that I didn't recognize this company, I called back asked why she hung up me and then I asked her to speak to her supervisor, kept me on hold never returned.
